Why ‘Sukoon’ Arts? In Arabic, ‘Sukoon’ can be described as calm, peace, relief, serenity, tranquility, wholeness. It is also the root word for Sakina which was the name of my grandmother and the name my wife and I gave our daughter. But the name is also what we want to reflect in our work, and at the core of it we aim to create unique art that will bring a smile to your face but also gives a sense of calmness when you look at it.

With these art pieces, we aspire to bring the love for the Arabic language into your homes and hopefully impact your lives with the impeccable teachings of the Holy Prophet.

Our Process

First is the initial consultation to determine your requirements i.e what design you want, the size, the colour the correct text spelling etc. Then taking all those details we will make an initial design digitally to show you how the final product will look. If you need some changes will continue to edit the design until you are happy with the look.

Next stage is to create and collect all the material required for your art piece. Our work consists of a range of mixed media so acquiring all the components is the most time consuming. Only after we have everything can the real work start!

The last stage is the assembly, putting it all together from the paint to every last intricate detail to create the perfect piece of art that will put a smile on your face. This is the stage that require perfection, so rest assured the final piece is exactly how you would have envisioned it in the first place.
